i'm really sorry that i haven't been posting stuff, but i'm in total and complete computer withdrawal due to having absolutely zero useful programs (paint.net, wordpad and a functional keyboard and safe computer, anvil studio and a keyboard and magic stuff, etc.) available... all i've got is a slow yet karmically fair pc, since i made my exchange student use the pc instead of the laptop when she was at my house. i probably ought to just break down and remap the keyboard in the computer's settings, but i still have this nagging feeling that that wouldn't be entirely polite.

so, yeah. i'm taking loads of pictures (got over a gig at the end of week 1) and drawing lots of pretty (and a few pretty awful) doodles, and i can't show you guys any of them 'cause they need manipped. :'(

<random> know what dA needs? a 'cued deviations' feature so you could remind yourself to check out a fullview later if you're stuck on a really slow computer at the time, but without making the commitment of faving something that you don't know yet is good.
oh, and on a german keyboard you can only get forward-slash by using the division-sign key on the num pad. and if you're on a laptop without one? i can only conjecture that you're a little bit screwed.

p.s. one other note on dA: their advertising for premium membership, account upgrades, etc. seems to be getting perpetually more severe. if i can't configure some sort of firefox extention to display the page in my own css and cut out at least the ad colours and possibly the ads entirely, i may someday decide, just because of that, to leave. just so it comes as no surprise in a few months or years...
